Dream Interpretation?
I usually don’t like asking for dream interpretations but I’m kind of stumped on this. I had a dream several nights ago that I was walking along a old, abandoned cemetery and there was nothing but old willow, oaks and cedar trees. It was a very large cemetery with gothic statues, large mausoleums and weathered tombstones which I couldn’t make out. I have a dream interpretation book at home but nothing does not add up. What could this mean?
I am married and I lost loved ones. Just recently I lost my grandmother.Does coming to terms to death is acceptance and let go?
Very good explaination of this SummerRain..I do miss my mother, grandmother and pop.At least this is signified as lost loved ones
No, you can not believe everything you read in these dream interpretation books. Most of these are written by people who think they know what everything symbolizes. I do not know if you are religious or not, but a lot of dreams are given as “insight” to what is going on in your life. I understand you not wanting to ask just anyone what this dream means. But with God’s help, I will try my best and I hope and pray that the interpretation will put you at peace.
The cemetary does represent death (real death). The trees represent people. These are clearly the people that you have lost in your life. The fact that there were different kinds of trees represents different kinds of persoanlities that these people had while alive. (Look up the attributes of these different trees and you will see that these people carry the same thing…so to speak). Now the gothic statues and the mausoleums represents…unfortunately the state in which they were in when they passed which is sorrow, sadness. You may not know it, but somewhere in them, they had much wrong with them.
This dream has nothing to do with coming to terms with the loss of your loved ones, you are just being shown about your loved ones dear. But yes, come to terms with it. You can always be connected to them, but let them go.
Hope this helps.
